October 2025
We have entered fall! The wines we have chosen this month are from California and really bring forward the change of seasons!
The wines are light bodied yet full of flavor that pair so perfectly with the flavors of fall.
We hope you enjoy these wines as much as we do :)
Join us for an exclusive wine and jazz event on October 11th.
We have curated the perfect menu to pair each glass of wine with the perfect bite, while enjoying live jazz on the patio!
skin contact riesling
This in our opinion is the perfect fall wine! Notes of orange citrus blossom, savory herb salad, and a touch of oak round out this wine. Bright acidity frames the aromatically layered wine which will leave you thinking. We love to enjoy this wine paired with a charcuterie board or with a spicy Thai curry!
Orange wine is the result of a white wine being made like a red wine. The grapes are harvested by hand and then put in a vat for fermentation just like we would with red grapes. The juice maceration with skins during fermentation extracts color, tannin, texture, and much more, and gives the wine an orange or off-white hue. It’s quite tropical in aromatics, velvety and textural on the palate, and finishes with a mouth-watering juicy punch. 30 days on the skin.
rose of grenache
This rose is the perfect transitional rose for fall, a little but more substantial than a typical Provence style rose, but still light bodied with bright acidity. The notes of dried strawberry and pomegranate leave your mouth watering for more! We love to enjoy this wine paired with brie and fig crostini, or a delicious ratatouille (if you are not familiar with the dish, please give Ratatouille the movie a watch)! We also love this wine with a juicy smash burger!
The grapes from this vineyard are organically farmed in the hills between Santa Paula and Ventura. They are carefully hand picked, whole cluster pressed, and then barrel fermented in neutral French oak. The aging process lasts for 6 months on the lees with no additional fining or residual sugar. This product is also vegan and free of any unnecessary additives.
grenache
This wine is simply fun! Playful red fruit with support from earthy notes of button mushroom and a touch herbal from stem inclusion. The palate leaves you wanting more with its juicy weight, but not offensive or clunky by any means. Enjoy alongside spaghetti and meatballs or this wine pairs wonderfully with grilled meats and veggies!
SIP Certified vineyard, using the oldest Grenache plantings in CA. Hand picked grapes co-fermented with Syrah, 20% whole cluster, and partial carbonic fermentation. Gently pressed wine aged in neutral French oak for 8 months, no racking, fining, RS. All vegan, no BS.
*if there are any wines you absolutely love, please email us and we would happily be able to get some more bottles for you to enjoy :)
