Modern Kintsugi Ceramics Workshop
✨ Mend, Create, and Embrace Imperfection ✨
Slow down and tap into the beauty of imperfection with this beginner-friendly modern Kintsugi workshop Sunday September 28 @ 2:30 PM on the patio @ Canal Market in Venice Beach. Inspired by Kintsugi, the ancient Japanese art of golden repair, turns broken ceramics into stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces—because flaws aren’t flaws, they’re part of the story.
In this class, you’ll learn a modern, beginner-friendly Kintsugi inspired technique using easy-to-work-with adhesives and brass powder (I will have multiple metallic hues available) to bring a broken plate or art piece back to life. No waiting for days—this method dries quickly and is hypoallergenic, making it perfect for decorative ceramics (just not for food use).
We will have a choice to break & repair a small bowl or plate. There is limited # of handmade pieces available and you also have an option to bring your own piece (if you do please check with me in advance).
Workshop includes: supplies, instruction + ceramic piece
Snacks & drinks will be available for purchase (they have a fun selection! 🍷☕️🧀🍪)

Belly Laughs is a stand up comedy show bringing out some Los Angeles rising stars and seasoned veterans. Located within the patio of The Canal Market. We've got killer comedians from Netflix Is Joke, Don't Tell Comedy, HBO, and the Comedy Store.

Candle Making Workshop
Come join us for a fun and creative Sunday day activity!
In this session you will make your own scented non-toxic candle that you get to take home at the end of the workshop. There will be varieties of different scents, you can stick to one you love the most, or make your own blend. All supplies are provided. The candle comes in a beautiful glass jar, which retails for $52. Besides the workshop, the ticket also comes with a beverage from the coffee menu.
Bring a friend, a loved one, a neighbor, or come by yourself, and meet new people.

🐟 Fish Plate Ceramics Workshop
Ceramic Workshop with Handmade in Venice!
Join for a mediterranean inspired summer evening ceramics workshop, where we will be making fish-shaped (or decorated) ceramic dishes/plates. There will be complimentary tinned fish tasting & other mediterranean snacks to enjoy 🐟🫒
📍🗓️ Thursday, August 7 @ 6:30 PM on the patio!
These dishes can be used for your favorite snacks, jewelry, soap, keys - you name it (I have 3 at my house!).
In this 2 hour interactive workshop we will build the pieces from clay, then spend some time decorating (stamps, painting, textures, etc).
All levels are welcome!
Workshop includes: supplies, instruction
Pieces can be bisque & glaze fired for an additional fee ($15 for first piece, $10 any additional ones). Fired pieces are dishwasher, microwave & oven safe. Firing fee can be pre-purchased or paid in the end of the workshop
They will be ready for pickup @ workshop location in 2-3 weeks!

Say hi to spring with this special workshop, where we will be using flowers & plants to decorate our clay plates, coasters and other flat shapes! 🌸🍃☀️ Join us Sunday May 11th at 2 PM @ Canal Market.
Come with mom, whole fam, friend/s, partner or solo!
In this 2 hour interactive workshop we will create flat shapes from clay, then spend some time creating organic imprints using flowers & plants provided by instructor. There will also be selection of stamps, colors, texture tools, etc. Advanced (or just adventurous ☺️) clay enthusiasts can try slab building cups or short vases, but the focus for the workshop will be on flat shapes.
