September 2025
Summer is winding down and we are entering into our fall months, but for us, summer is just beginning. The weather warms up and we have selected the perfect wines for September!
This month, we are taking you to Morocco! We have selected wines from La Ferme Rouge, which was founded as a vineyard and olive orchard in 1908. The winery was started in 1933 under French influence. Located in the Zaer region of Morocco, a highly praised wine region of Morocco, about 45 kilometers from the Atlantic ocean and at an elevation of 450 meters, the vineyards benefit from cool ocean breezes and red clay soil. Grapes are hand-picked, pressed gently and fermented in temperature-regulated concrete vats. These wines carry a strong French influence and we can’t wait to share them with you!
We hope you enjoy these wines as much as we do :)

LA FERME ROUGE Le Gris 2024
A perfect provence style rose, from Morrocco is both delicious and so refreshing! This rose is made from organically farmed Cisault which comes from the red clay soil and ancient sand terroir with limestone subsoil and shale of the Zaer region of Morocco. All the fruit is harvested by hand. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with native yeast, and wine ages in stainless steel with little to no sulfur additions at bottling. The result is a delicate, dry rose with notes of strawberry and spice with underlying minerality.
We love to pair this with a grilled veggie couscous and grilled kebabs, grilled fish, or a fresh goats cheese salad. We do also enjoy sipping this alongside a spicy Thai curry!
LA FERME ROUGE Petite Ferme Blanc 2024
This is a 50/50 sauvignon blanc and vermentino white wine, creating the perfect southern French style white blend. This wine is refreshing, dry, and aromatic with white peach flavors and notes of citrus, with a soft and refreshing finish.
This wine is best enjoyed on a warm day in the sun, with some oysters or fresh seafood, or we love to pair this with an herb roasted chicken!
LA FERME ROUGE Terre Rouge 2023
This blend of Syrah and Tempranillo create a red wine, deep in color, with a palate that is complex, fruity and harmonious, carried by soft and fresh tannins. Dry farmed, the grapes are de-stemmed, followed by native yeast fermentation in concrete, and aging in used Burgundy barrels.
We love this wine alongside barbecued lamb, slow cooked stews, charcuterie, or we love it with spicy food!
