November 2026

The holidays are upon us!

We have a beautiful selection of low intervention wines from California this month. We have selected the perfect autumnal white, it is bright and refreshing but has the texturally complex, honeyed mid-palate needed for chilly nights. The red offers a warm, inviting, smooth profile that feels inherently cozy and comforting as we head into the cooler cozier months. Bring these wines to any holiday gathering or enjoy with friends over comforting seasonal dishes made for sharing!

We hope you love these wines as much as we do!

Idlewild - The Bee (flora and fauna white)

Flora and Fauna loosely means the collection of plant and animal life of a certain epoch. In this version, it is the collection of varietals from the cellar that make up the blend for the year. The fruit predominantly comes from Fox Hill Vineyard and Lost Hills Ranch. Fox Hill lends aromatic richness while Lost Hills balances with vibrancy and brighter aromatics.

The wine is highlighted by honey, wildflowers, wet stones, salty air, jasmine, and orange blossoms. Moderate weight and a lithe, nearly rainwater-light palate, with a phenolic edge that gives way to a crisp, clean finish.

Grapes: Arneis, Muscat Canelli, Favorita, Erbaluce, Cortese

Region: Mendocino County, California

Farming: Organic / low intervention

Pairings: We love this wine with paired with charcuterie, roasted chicken, and butternut squash risotto.

Pops red blend

The winemaker launched Pop's Wine in honor of his grandfather, who planted vineyards across Sonoma County in the 1970s. The blend - a mix of organic, hand-picked Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignan, a splash of Viognier - is a nod to the diversity within the vineyards of Sonoma, focused largely on the heritage varieties that played an important role in California wine's history.

Notes of juicy, brambly red berry and freshly picked fig, orange peel, and ever so slight baking spice running through. A no-brainer for your holiday table!

Grapes: Syrah, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, and Viognier

Region: Napa, California

Farming: Natural / Organic

Pairings: This wine is great alongside smash burgers, pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, or roasted fall veggies. It is also the perfect wine to bring to your Thanksgiving feast!
